The Skill Share Studio is an excellent place to try your hand at teaching, whether you're doing it for the first time or have lots of experience. The Skill Share Studio offers the use of our tools for workshops. We have two pottery wheels (one electric and one kickwheel), several sewing machines, various silkscreening and batik tools, as well as a wide assortment of other tools and materials. Generally we charge a sliding scale fee of $5-$25 for our workshops and accept trades. Depending on the cost and availability of materials we may include a materials fee as well. Many class facilitators volunteer their time and proceeds to the studio, but we are happy to split income evenly between the studio and instructors. Additionally, the studio may be rented by the hour - $12 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
